Crop-Side Services
Our Crop-Side Team has developed two services to fulfill our vision of assisting farmers with selling their grain more profitably in the cash market.
1. Crop-Side Cash Marketing Service
Our Crop-Side Team’s mission is to provide our Crop-Side family members with the expertise and tools needed to help them consistently sell their grain more profitably in the cash market.
Our services and tools are designed to deliver the following specific benefits to our Crop-Side family members:
Cash Marketing Service Pricing
We are a family owned business, and our family is like many others in that we are a modest sized farming operation. As a result, we realize carefully managing costs and that maximizing profitability is critical to the survival of many farm operations. Our Crop-Side Team has worked very hard to keep our price structure at a level that is affordable and is typically is significantly lower than our competitors. Our plan costs less than two cents per bushel for the average Midwestern farmer.
If you have any questions about the benefits our services provide or how the costing structure works, please call our Crop-Side Team. |

2. Crop-Side Managed Cash Pricing Service
This is a new service being offered by our Crop-Side Team.
We realize there are farmers who struggle to “pull the trigger” on selling their grain when the time is optimal. The reasons for the struggle varies, but what we have heard from many who have that struggle is that they wish they had someone who could take control of their crop and execute the cash sales for them. This program is designed to help execute cash grain sales on behalf of farmers.
How does this new Managed Cash Pricing service work?
The farmer is still in command of key specifics:
The Crop-Side Team will take action to:
The key difference between this program and our original Crop-Side program is who executes the sale. Under the original program it is up to the farmers to take action to execute the sale when prompted by the Sell Signal Text Message. Under this program, the Crop-Side Team will take action to execute the sale at the optimal selling time. Farmers utilizing this service do not receive a Sell Signal Text Message since the Crop-Side Team is responsible for executing the sale of the grain committed to the program.

Managed Cash Pricing Service Pricing
Given the additional responsibilities our Crop-Side Team would be expected execute under this program, we have established a chart of applicable cents per bushel pricing which is based upon the quantity of bushels committed by the farmer under this service. As would be expected, the larger the quantity committed the less the applicable rate is on a per bushel basis.
